On September 25/26, we are organizing a hybrid seminar (presence plus online) in a beautifully located hotel on the edge of the Palatinate Forest. The Parkhotel Schillerhain in Kirchheimbolanden lives up to its name and invites you to relax and take a deep breath. Our meeting room will be large and airy, surrounded by nature and greenery. In this ambience, where the price-performance ratio could not be better, we will devote ourselves to exciting Jyotish topics and also have the ideal environment for conversations and exchange outside the seminar.
Anne C. Schneider and Gudrun Lewis-Schellenbeck will give a lecture on site. Gayatri Devi Vasudev from Bangalore, Jaya Sekhar from Hosur and Komilla Sutton from California will be connected online – we will follow these lectures together on the screen.
Mrs. Gayatri Devi Vasudev from Bangalore is the Editor of Modern Astrology, the new astrological magazine, started in 2009 as the successor to The Astrological Magazine (AM) founded by Dr. B. V. Raman. She was the Associate Editor (72-98) and later Editor (99-2007) of AM. Her academic career was in Physics, Mathematics and Law. She has authored many books on astrology that include The Art of Matching Charts, The Art of Prediction in Astrology, Advanced Principles of Prediction, Clues to Interpreting Charts, Practical Horary Astrology, Astrology and the Hoax of ‘Scientific Temper’ and How to Judge a Horoscope – Volume II. She has been the Keynote Speaker and honoured at many International Conferences on Vedic Astrology the world over.
Komilla Sutton from San Francisco founded together with Andrew Foss the British organization BAVA (British Association of Vedic Astrology) and we consider her to be the a very key supporter of Vedic Astrology in the German-speaking countries. The translation of her book which was published as “Indian Astrology”; at the end of the 1990s, first aroused the interest of local astrologers in the Vedic sister science. She is also the author of numerous books and Youtube videos.
