When Prof. Jaya Sekhar told me in the fall that he would be back in Europe in 2019 and he then accepted the invitation to Alzey, something came true that we hardly thought possible at the beginning of the 2000s, namely that our much sought-after and popular Indian Teacher would still be able to come to us after 16 years. Prof. Sekhar has long since passed the 1000 moons, ie his 80th birthday, but still travels between India and Europe and will teach something special this spring: he will combine the themes of chakras and jyotish.
In 2010 he taught in Alzey the basics of the chakras, went into detail on the philosophical background, but avoided any connection between the energy centers and planets or zodiac signs. At that time he found it was too early and the subject too complex to teach in the West. Now, in the spring of 2019, he will unravel the mystery and introduce its connection and operation. This will extend over 3 mornings.
In the afternoons, we will have a special program for all present: We will sit together in the seminar room and follow lectures of two other well-known and popular Jyotishis: On Friday Ronnie Gale Dreyer from New York will talk about “twin horoscopes” and on Saturday afternoon Nalinikanta Das will speak from Florida, the exact topic will be announced.
Since we can only accept a limited number of participants in Alzey, we will be offering the entire seminar live and online at the same time. Also, the part of Prof. Sekhar will be online in real time to track and of course then the videos are available for download. The live participants will also receive the videos afterwards.
Friday, April 26:
Morning: 9h to 10.30am – 11h to 12.30pm: Prof. Jaya Sekhar (direct in Alzey) – all times in CET
“Evolution of the Chakras and Integration of the Intrinsic Karmic Structure Code”
Afternoon: 2.30pm to 4pm and 4.30pm to 6pm: Ronnie Gale Dreyer (online from New York)
“Interpreting the charts of Twins”
This lecture will focus on Ronnie’s ongoing research into the similarities and differences in the charts of twins. We will look at how the 3rd house represents the younger twin while the 11th house represents the older twin. Then we will see how the charts are distinguished in the Varga charts in ways you may not consider. The difference between twins often shows up in several varga charts and not just the shastiamsa chart (D-60) as many people think. This is important for practicing astrologers since in the era of in vitro fertilization, many sets of twins are being born.
Ronnie Gale Dreyer is an internationally-known consultant, lecturer, and teacher based in New York City. She has written numerous books, anthology chapters, and articles in astrological journals. Ronnie is a frequent lecturer at conferences and for astrology groups, conducts webinars on a variety of topics, and teaches ongoing classes in Indian Astrology. She has co-authored, with Nick Campion, a chapter in Religious Transformation in Modern Asia. Ronnie is guest lecturer in Indian Cosmology for the M.A. Distance Learning Program in Cultural Astronomy at University of Wales. She received her M.A. in South Asian Languages and Cultures from Columbia University.
